Presenting more LightSpeed Cloud updates, and a couple legacy fixes for existing customers, with two releases: “Beauty Shop” and “Amaranth.”
What are the KEY FIXES?
- Users can search catalogs. Previously, this was impossible to do through “Purchase Orders” and also messy in other parts of the system. This was another fundamental change to the the new UI.
- “Serial Numbers” isn’t just a pretty button that shoots out error messages anymore. Users can now search for their serialized items, however, there is no longer a filter for Vendors in this screen.
- Time clocks work for all roles now.
- The iPad app login screen is no longer going to troll you by jumping straight to the password field.
- Removed Item Attribute Sets from Settings. We’ll revisit this feature later after more thorough testing.
- Trial accounts now expire after 14 days.
- MerchantOS logo is gone in the old UI. It’s been replaced with LightSpeed.
Kevin Bacon AND Queen Latifah?! If you haven’t seen “Beauty Shop,” it should be on your list now. Movie Synopsis – Gina is a hairstylist who opens up a beauty shop full of employees and customers more interested in speaking their minds than getting a cut.
And “Amaranth” is not just a grain, it’s also the name of a color: Amaranth is a reddish–rose color that is a representation of the color of the flower of the amaranth plant. The color shown is the color of the red amaranth flower (the color normally considered amaranth), but there are other varieties of amaranth that have other colors of amaranth flowers.
