Lightspeed Retail with eCom
Feature Enhancement
Inventory tracking: As an omnichannel merchant, the source of truth of your eCom store’s inventory is your Retail account. To ensure that your eCom inventory levels are tracking and displaying properly, we’ve introduced these new omnichannel inventory rules:
- The Track Inventory toggle is mandatorily enabled in Settings > Store Settings > Workflows.
- When single, box and assembly items in your Retail account are pushed to your eCom back office, their Track Inventory toggle are mandatorily enabled in the variants themselves. Their Allow Backorders toggle is also visible.
- When non-inventory items in your Retail account are pushed to your eCom back office, their Track Inventory toggle is mandatorily disabled in the variants themselves. Their Allow Backorders toggle is also kept hidden.CAM-5803EMID-1338
Bug Fixes
- Publishing items to eCom: When an employee with the eCom – Basic permission disabled in their employee role creates new items in a Retail account with the Automatically publish to eCom setting disabled in Settings > General Options, the new Retail items are still automatically publishing to the eCom back office. This is now fixed. CLD-16039
- Out of balance eCom orders: When a discounted eCom order is synched to a Retail account, it’s sometimes out of balance due to different rounding calculations in the synching process. This is now fixed. EMID-1384EMID-1367
