To reorder Categories, your employees needed full permissions to your eCom Back Office. We've changed this. Now, any employees with only the Products permission enabled can make changes to how categories are ordered in your store!

To give you more control over the security of your store and help you better manage employee access, we've updated some user permissions in the eCom Back Office (Settings > General Settings > Users > (select a user) > Permissions): - To make eCom App Store purchases: Financial permission is required - To access Billing information: Financial permission is required - To reoder product Categories: Products permission is required - To access store Statistics: Settings permission is required - To access Web Statistics > Google Analytics or Clicky: Settings permission is required.

Previously, only users with full permissions to the eCom Back Office could perform bulk actions on product variants. We've changed this. Now, any of your employees with only the Products permission enabled can apply bulk changes to items on the Product overview pages.

The Customer type (Private vs Business) on the Customers page in the eCom Back Office (Customers > (select a customer) > Edit) could not be changed when using Mozilla FireFox. We've fixed this.

The PostNL breadcrumb link on the Back Office PostNL page, when editing Pricing (Settings > Shipping methods > Configure PostNL > Pricing ), was broken. We've fixed this. The link will now take you back to the main PostNL settings page, as expected!

When you add a new language to your online store, Lightspeed eCom will now generate the appropriate language-specifc URLs for your products and product variants.

After printing an order's shipping label, the order's Track & Trace code was not immediately displayed in the Back Office. We've fixed this. Now, as soon as you print shipping labels for an order, eCom updates the order's overview card with the relevant T&T code(s).

To prevent eye-strain while working with Lightspeed eCom for long periods of time, we've slightly darkened the colour palette of the Back Office. This change also improves readability and contrast, and will make it easier for people with impaired vision to work with eCom.

To give you more insight into your online business, we've added some additional data columns to several of our overview pages. For example, the Invoices page now shows the Date Paid column so you can quickly see the date when a particular invoice was marked as paid. Navigate through the different areas of the eCom Back Office to see some of these improvements for yourself!

As a B2B merchant, you can now easily approve new customers. Simply navigate to the Customers page in your eCom Back Office, select your new customers and set the Approved toggle to the on position!

To make Lightspeed eCom friendly and more intuitive for our users, we have rearranged some menu options. The Quotes option has been moved to the left menu in the Back Office, under the Orders menu option. Likewise, the option Customer Groups, has been moved under the Customers main menu option.
