Why are these Lightspeed products being renamed?

Lightspeed offers a number of products for different industries and our product family is growing. Updating our product names will help you better differentiate which feature updates, offers, add-ons and hardware are relevant to your product.

When will I need to know my product's new name?

Your product's name will be relevant when browsing the help center or contacting support, as it might help you receive faster advice and assistance for your particular product. Your product name will also be relevant when purchasing new hardware or add-ons, as you'll be able to use it to see what's compatible with your product. For example, the Self Order Menu product will be labeled Lightspeed Self Order Menu (L-Series). Finally, you will be able to use the new name to check if any communications about updates, news or offers are relevant to your particular product.

Does this change mean the product itself is changing?

No. There will be no change to the way your product functions or how you use it with this change. The only thing that's changing is a minor update to the name.

Where do I check my new product name?

You will see your new name on your invoices from Lightspeed and on the login page, and in your product soon.
